These are drawings of highway. Countless motion created by 3DCG modeling and disposition of them are the sights mixing my random imagination and calculation by software. these visual doesn’t show reality based on human eyesights. these are another real world. in this real world, industrial products have started non functional “autonomous movement”. these images show how products are standing in sights and exceed human’s control and basic recognition.
The inspiration of Duck is diving into the water is Japanese old fairy tales about animal transformation into human being.

The table with removable lights is my interpretation of what a home means to me. The feeling of home is not the shelter itself, but the people. The transportable lights reflect the idea that people are independent, but are always able to come back ‘home’ where family are reconnected. Similarly to lights, when people are gathered it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The shape of my table is inspired by the soft flowing shapes of streams and lakes. I see life as a stream and the home like a lake. Streams flow into lakes to rest, before the water is ready to become a stream again.

Title: [25] Pockets of [Oxford]
Size:  52 x 42 x 4 cm
Media:  Framed bricolage assemblage
Price: £985.00
[25] Pockets of [Oxford] has been randomly and collaboratively generated through unplanned encounters, gifts and referrals.
Participants gave away to the montage an object possession and wrote on the picture frame, directions for the next location and person, or 'pocket' to be visited in Oxford. The trail of referrals from person to person continued until 25 objects from 25 referrals were collected. The objects are then incorporated into a final, framed montage and arranged relative to the places in Oxford at which they were obtained.
Participants include: museum curators, artists, musicians, baristas, retail workers, professors, fitness instructors, a gardener, a renowned violin virtuoso, to name but a few.

Lauren is an Edinburgh based artist who creates highly decorative contemporary miniature paintings, populated by playful protagonists of an anthropomorphic persuasion. Characters throughout her painting parody the many small joys and every day mundanities of human experience, creating nonsensical narratives to which she lends a sense of significance via obsessive and elaborate ornamentation.

Lauren’s work is as much a kin to written fiction as visual art; separate works follow a continuous divergent narrative with events and characters in individual paintings referencing the wider fiction via links to fabricated history and inferred ancestry.

My waterfall pieces are based on the experience of walking up and alongside a waterfall on the way to Easedale Tarn in the Lake District. I have used Photoshop to explored the contrast of the shapes and patterns created by the water. I was struck on this occasion by the idea that from a distance the waterfall looks like a stationary white mark on the landscape. It is only by moving up it and walking close by it, that you can experience it. The front and the back of these part-woven pieces are both important. It is a gently fluctuating, cascading broken image to be experienced through movement and to be viewed from different perspectives. The images were transferred onto a synthetic warp using the heat press. The black and white prints allow for increased contrast as the images change form mainly black to mainly white, as the amount of water increases.

Size:  45 x 85 x 100 cm
Media:  object

The world is full of misfortune.
But it may simply just have misunderstood.
For example, what seemed to be a bomb,
In fact, it may be something fun like a balloon and blueberries.
Depending on your own way of thinking, you can make misfortune happy.
Sudden misfortune is a valuable trial,
There are many things to learn from disliked people.
Only you know your happiness.
And your life is yours only.
Therefore, things can be converted as you think.
Let's enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime life.

I'm a cutting paper artist in Japan, and I have made many paper arts from about 5 years ago. I make a paper art of UK architecture in particula, because I love gothic architectures so much. "Heavy" is made by only one part, so you can raise it so easy. The work is only 7 grams, but it seems to be so "Heavy"

In this work, I was inspired by the Postojna Cave in the former Yugoslavia where I visited. It was a huge cave and we were conveyed by a narrow gauge railway which speedily whisked us through the 3.2 km cave network. The adventure which caught my breath was enhanced by the fear of crashing into the stalactites other beautiful rock features. The dramatic cave lighting created magical images and pictures which were etched on my memory and here is the resulting creation... If the work is put against the light, you will also find different images like stained glass windows, or even a lit cavern.

In the work, I imagined the north country in the depths of a severe cold winter. It's freezing, and the surface of the water of a river and the lake is solid. All the branches of the trees are covered with the whitish or semitransparent rime frost which is crystallized ice. The rime frost on the trees flies gently in the air on the breeze and falls onto the frozen surface of the water. It seems to bloom like a frost flower on the surface of the frozen lake. If there is no wind, there will be a diamond dust which is dancing and scattered in the air. It is a fantastic scene created by the innumerable ice particles reflecting the sunlight and shimmering. I imagined such a vision when creating this work. I used the white floss silk as the medium for rime frost, whereas the scrunched aluminium foil represents prominent ice and the glittering sequins might be crystals... I hop this expresses my imagination to you !
When the dark and cold winter is over, it becomes a bright and warm spring. In Japan, April is the month when school starts and work begins a new. Many people, young and old, consider April, as well as New Year's Day, to be a good chance to start new things. They are excited by the expectation of happiness. April is also a season of the flowers. So, I expressed the work of 'Spring Joy' using a theme with a flower. In the work, I cut various coloured tulle into pieces and edged them with the floss silk thread which is stretched by hand. Then I laid one piece of tulle on top of another in a different colour, creating a superimposed simplicity. As tulle is net-like material, the several layers of the tulle create a variety of colour and crossed lines of floss silk thread. And then I spread floss silk thinly, and put it on the top of tulle to make a background. The colour of the background turned into a translucent soft spring colour. Onto the background, I placed small pieces of material which dancing flowers emerge joyfully.

"Weigh your Soul” suggests a symbolic game that contrasts with the material use of the weighbridge and both the weighbridge and the artwork complement each other. The intervention transforms an earthly space into a point of spirituality where we reflect on the weight of the intangible essential characteristic of art and the human soul.
The drawing works as a triptych. In the central part, the figure of Destiny emerges, in the form of a woman whose body is a labyrinth of roads, and her heart (the heart of destiny) is the lighthouse that allows us to make good choices: love is the most reliable guide to choosing our destination; in addition, Destiny carries a pendulum in her hand, the oscillation of which also rules our lives. On both sides of Destiny, the authors themselves are represented. Both characters are created from bones and organic forms that remind us of the material part of the human being and hold spheres that represent the soul.
To observe the artwork one has to do it in front of it, and that is precisely where the weighbridge is. So, the title not only invites the visitors to weigh their own soul, but also to enter a metaphorical game that connects them with the artwork.

Title: Pearls of the sound - Kayoko's Harmony-
Size:  47 x 39 x 6 cm
Media:  Mixed Media
Price: £
On a full moon night, Kayoko is playing the piano.
That sound echoes outside, and it is illuminated by the moonlight and becomes light grains.
As they fall on the ground, they turn into the buds of lotus flower, and blooming one after another.
The beauty of all beings...

This work is a collage with the natural stones and artificial flowers. I was trying to express the beauties or the wonders created from nature, by using delicate beautiful flowers and the everlasting mystic natural stones as materials.
